BOOK 2 IS HERE!
Reinforces Book 1 Foundation...
Take Off! With Technique Book 2 begins with a review of major pentascales and continues through 14 major and minor keys. Tapping exercises are used throughout to complement the keyboard work.
A New Icon...
The barbell icon represents various relaxation and strengthening exercises which enable greater facility at the piano. These new exercises are designed to assist students in the effective use of the upper body.
More Technique Tools...
Students will be introduced to one octave scales, triads and hand over hand arpeggios. Each lesson provides fun and creative ideas for students to use in developing their technique. These lessons will assist students in translating their technical skills to their repertoire with confidence. The technical exercises covered are compatible with Conservatory requirements.
A Lot Of Choice...
Take Off! Book 2 offers a lot of variety to keep students engaged in all exercises. Throughout the lessons there are new rhythms and dynamic suggestions, choices on articulation, pencil work, and theoretical concepts. Students who enjoy extra challenges will find the lessons stimulating. If a student repeats a lesson, there are many options to enhance the exercises. Teachers can assign as little or as much as a student requires according to their level or ability.
